Course Spotlight: Commercial Specialist

The Commercial Specialist course is the basis for earning the Commercial Specialist designation for certified installers. Designed for crew leaders, supervisors, and job superintendents, this course provides more in-depth knowledge for field leadership. The Concrete Paver Installer Course is a recommended prerequisite for this course and Concrete Paver Installer certification is required to earn the Commercial Specialist designation. The course is available in a virtual format or through live in-person events.

• Silica Safety

• Pavement Design Overview

After successfully completing the course, certified installers must submit an Application for Designation documenting cumulative commercial installation experience of at least 10 paver projects and 50,000 square feet of commercial installation experience to earn the designation. Designations are renewed every 2 years with certification.
