Old Town Oasis

OBJECTIVES

The owner’s goal was to ensure all the horizontal surfaces complimented the home’s stonework. The home was surrounded by courtyard walls, so drainage was complex.

SOLUTIONS

A drainage system had to be designed to handle 100-year flood and required a large custom trench drain that was covered with decorative grate. Several curb-cuts had to be installed to pipe downspouts and catch basins past the sidewalk and into the street.

RESULTS

It was decided that pavers would be the best solution for the complex drainage system installations. In addition, pavers were visually appealing and blended with other hardscape installations and landscapes well. The owner wanted surfaces that blended nicely and flowed well around the exterior of the home. The owners were extremely satisfied with the result, as well.
