Structural Design of Interlocking Concrete Pavements
This program enables users to design bases for interlocking concrete pavements. Users can design aggregate, cement or asphalt stabilized, or asphalt bases. The program uses the flexible pavement design methodology in the 1993 AASHTO Guide for Design of Pavement Structures. The user provides soil subgrade and drainage information, anticipated traffic loads as 18,000 lb (80 kN) axle loads up to 10 million, and the base material type. The program outputs base and subbase thicknesses. The user can change default values in the program.
